ContractOne is a residential and commercial general contractor and developer serving South Carolina and Colorado. We partner with homeowners, business owners, and investors to bring thoughtful, well-executed spaces to life, from custom homes and large-scale renovations to commercial environments.
Our integrated approach spans design-build, pre-construction planning, project development, home automation, and post construction. By aligning strategy, craftsmanship, and technology, we create spaces that are not only built to last, but built with intention.

Bryan Johnson

President / Lead Project Manager
In 2003 , Bryan Johnson founded ContractOne, with fifteen years of industry experience , and a vision: to bridge the gap between administrative precision and the rugged, hands – on reality mountain construction. Starting in the Vail Valley of Colorado, Bryan built a reputation – driven corporation capable of delivering projects of all sizes consisting of single – family homes, renovations in residential and commercial settings along with completing two developments in some of the most challenging environments in the country.
As ContractOne grew, so did its reach. In 2010 , Bryan expanded operations to the Upstate of South Carolina , bringing the company’s signature “mountain – tough” expertise to the Blue Ridge region . With a small presence in the Upstate of South Carolina and the main office in Colorado, projects were raised along with children and a wonderful life. In 2016 , after being behind the scenes , Jill Johnson joined the Con tractOne offi ce . In 2020 , life changed for the Johnsons. As they became empty nesters, Bryan and Jill began to envision their next chapter. Driven by a love for the mountains and a desire for a milder climate to call home, they made a pivotal decision in 2025 : to flip the company’s focus and relocate the ContractOne main office to Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Today, Bryan continues to run ContractOne as a founder – led firm with its heart in two mountain ranges . He continues assisting clients with builds and renovations of all sizes. Now settled in South Carolina full – time, Bryan is enjoying his growing family, new and old friends , the areas trails for biking/wa l king, spending time at the lakes , along with connecting and serving with new friends as an active member at the Woodworker’s Guild of Greenville and the Home Builders Association of Greenville.

Jill Johnson

Office Manager
Jill Johnson serves as the Office Manager for ContractOne, bringing a unique blend of organizational expertise, educational leadership, and hands – on residential design experience to the family – owned construction company. Jill’s diverse career began after college as the director of a wilderness residential camp for children in Colorado. In 1999, she reconnected with her high school classmate, Bryan Johnson. The two married, and Bryan joined her in Colorado. While raising th eir children, Jill dedicated her time to teaching at a Montessori school while simultaneously channeling her creativity into designing and building the family’s personal homes.
By the time Jill officially joined ContractOne full – time in 2016, she had already successfully designed and built three personal homes in collaboration with Bryan and the ContractOne team. Between managing active construction projects and enjoying Colorado ‘s vibrant mountain lifestyle, she went on to design a fourth family home. Seeking a milder climate and a closer connection to family, Jill and Bryan began planning the next chapter for ContractOne in 2020. Having visited family in the Upstate region for years, Jill began spending more time in South Carolina in 2024. This transition culminated in 2025 with the strategic decision to relocate ContractOne’s main office to Travelers Rest, South Carolina, while maintaining their smaller established operations in Colorado. Outside of the office, Jill is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time with her family. Her favorite activities include hiking, boating, golfing, and learning to play paddle.

Jeanette Kiphart

Project Facilitator
Jeanette Kiphart is a Project Facilitator at ContractOne, working directly alongside the company president to ensure projects move seamlessly from concept to completion. Jeanette is a driven professional who successfully balanced raising her daughter with completing her college degree. Before entering the construction industry, she built a diverse professional foundation with valuable experience in trade sales, office mana gement, employee training, and targeted marketing campaigns.
In 2021, Jeanette joined ContractOne as the Assistant to the President. Her sharp aptitude for business and construction quickly became apparent. She immersed herself in the trade, mastering specialized construction management software and earning her OSHA safety certification. Recognizing her extensive capabilities, ContractOne promoted Jeanette to Project Facilitator, where she plays a vital role in daily operations and general contracting management.
When ContractOne announced plans to relocate its primary headquarters to the Upstate in 2024, Jeanette and her husband, James, embraced the opportunity for a new adventure. They officially relocated with the company to Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Always eager to challenge herself with new experiences, Jeanette spends her free time hiking, adventuring, and enjoying quality time with her family.
